description:
- In the Carmersstraat, where in earlier days there existed the
Carmelite Monastery, between the Lange Reie (canal) and the ramparts
with the windmills, lies our house. It is a historical house built
in the 16th century. Over the years restorations have been made.
Rooms K1 and K2 are built under the original oak beams of the
roof. Room K3, the new room, is inspired on the colours and houses
of Bruges.
- Here, at only 5 minutes walking distance from the Market square,
you find yourself in the “Quiet Quarter" of Bruges,
as the St.Anna quarter is known. An ideal location easily reached
through the medieval "Kruispoort" or also the "Dampoort".
An excellent starting point for discovering our town! From our
place all important sites are quickly reached by foot.
- Upon your arrival a warm, friendly welcome awaits you. We offer
a good map of Bruges and inform you personally about our charming
and historically rich town. It is our pleasure to help our guests
feel "at home in Brugge"!

how
to get there:
To reach our house, if you travel by car : counter clockwise, take
the road going around Bruges [R30]. On the Northside, having passed
the four old windmills, immediately take left to come into town
by one of the two bridges (indicated as DAMPOORT [7]). Continue
your way along the canal and at the third bridge on your lefthandside
there is the Carmersstraat!
If you came by train : leaving the railwaystation, take bus nr.4
or nr.14 . Ask the driver to stop for you at Carmersbridge, just
cross that bridge to come into our street , from there it only needs
one minute walking …
