• The Moulin de la Garrigue is a delightful restored watermill, open all year round, where you can be assured of a warm welcome and a comfortable stay. It is set in 32 acres in a peaceful rural setting but with easy access to the nearest towns of Souillac (7km) and Salignac (5km). Both are worth a visit.
• Two of the most well-known local attractions are the caves known as the "Gouffres de Padirac", and the fascinating hilltop village of Rocamadour.
  The picturesque medieval town of Sarlat with its market, famous for its regional produce, is only 30 minutes away.
• Breakfast, in the dining room or on the terrace outside, is included: fruit juice, cereals, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, bread, croissants, cheese and/or cold meat, a selection of fresh fruit.
• The moulin is ideally situated for exploring both the Lot and the Dordogne valleys as it is on the border of the two departments. The area has an abundance of activities to offer, such as kayaking and horseriding, and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists. It is also a region renowned for its foie gras, truffles, cepes and walnuts - a gourmet's delight!

• 3 rooms downstairs - a double room with ensuite shower room and a family suite of a double bedroom with separate toilet and shower room and an attached room with 2 single beds
• 4 rooms upstairs - each one with double bedroom, separate toilet and shower room and a mezzanine floor with 2 single beds.
• All rooms, except the downstairs family suite, have a television.
• Whilst in the area you simply must visit the fantastic Gouffre de Padirac. Most people have already heard of Rocamadour this is France's second most visited tourist attraction after Le Mont St-Michel. Pay it a visit and you will see why!

how to get there:

The nearest airport is Bergerac to the west. Larger airports are Bordeaux ( west) and Toulouse (south).
The nearest railway station is at Souillac, which connects to Toulouse. The line from Bordeaux goes through Bergerac and terminates at Sarlat.
Taxis tend to be expensive! If travelling by road, please refer to the map.
The moulin is situated on the D62 Borreze road between Salignac and Souillac.
