Booking:

In case of cancellation of a booking, the customer must inform The Mill of The Port as early as possible. 100% of the total amount is due if we are not informed at least 7 days before.

• The mill of the port was built using tufa stones in 1883 along the Cher River in the heart of the Loire Valley. It has a spectacular water wheel of rare dimension.
• Isabelle and Thierry will warmly welcome you upon your arrival. You will have a choice of bedrooms with either an exceptional view of the Cher River or a quiet view of the wooded grounds.
• The house is set in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, where you can rest next to the heated swimming pool and admire the beautiful surroundings or take advantage of the different activities offered.
• Two fully equipped, independent cottages accommodate your family's needs. Playground facilities are available for children.
• By following the pedestrian footpath located along the water mill, you can easily reach the Chateau de Chenonceaux which is less than 4km away. In the heart of the Castles of the Loire Valley, the water mill is ideally located as a base to discover famous and prestigious sites in the surroundings, such as Amboise, Blois, Chambord, and of course the Beauval Zoo.
• The mill has recently undergone an extensive interior refurbishment. All rooms are furnished to a high standard and are fully centrally heated. All bedrooms have a private en-suite bathroom. Enjoy the panoramic view of the cher.
  Our bedrooms are very spacious (approximately 30m2) and possess quite a small part lounge.

By Train : 55 minutes from Paris with the high speed train TGV from main train station "Gare Montparnasse" to "St Pierre des Corps" (TGV train station just East of Tours) or 1h35mn with the TGV (high speed train) straight from the Roissy /Charles de Gaulle International Airport to "St. Pierre des Corps"
We are 25 minutes away by train, from St Pierre des Corps.

By Plane : Direct flight "Ryan Air" from London Stansted to Tours Airport.

By Car : From Paris, take the A10 motorway, exit at N°18. Take the direction Amboise, then Montrichard. When you reach Chissay, cross the Cher River, and take the first Right.
From Tours, take the 76 National, direction Vierzon. When you reach Saint Georges sur Cher, turn left at the roundabout, then take the second road on the left side.
