  • Rockyview B&B is situated in the seaside village of Fanore in Co.Clare, Ireland. It offers spectacular views of the Burren hills, Galway Bay and the Aran Islands.
  • The house consists of 6 bedrooms ensuite and a guest lounge where one can read and relax.
  • The proprietors Noel and Ita Walsh are organic gardeners and most of their produce is used in the preparation of breakfast, served daily.
    (Special diets catered for).
  • Local Restaurant and nearby pub serve meals too.
  • The start of the Burren Walking Way is 2 minutes from the B&B. These walks take one up the Burren Hills and one can spend hours walking in the Karst landscape and to observe the wonderful flora of the area.
  • An experienced guide can be arranged for these walks if required.
  • Other facilities in the area include: The Burren Riding School, sea angling, rock climbing, photography and painting weekends.
  • The beautiful beach in Fanore boasts a 'Blue Flag' award and is 'Life-Guard' supervised during the summer months.
  • Fanore is approximately 12km from Ballyvaughan and the famous Ailwee Caves and 20 minutes drive to Doolin.

how to get there:

From Shannon: Take the N18 (North) to Ennis. Please take the turn-off for Ennistymon/Lahinch as you approach Ennis, then take the N85 to Ennistymon (in the direction of the Cliffs of Moher). Drive through Ennistymon on towards Lisdoonvarna.
Outside Lisdoonvarna follow the signs for the Coast Road onto the R477.

From Doolin: Take the road North, past the church onto Ballinalackan Castle and turn left onto the R477.

In Fanore, Rockyview Farmhouse is 4 Kms from the Post Office and Pub and we have signs at the top of the road pointing to our Bed and Breakfast.
