• In Tuscany, not far from the traditional crowded tourist sites, Podere la Sterza lies in the middle of a wild and beautiful valley, among the hills and large woods.

• Our country house is situated at the bottom of the valley in the Commune of Chianni (Province of Pisa) along the torrent Sterza which flows by the Provincial Road of Miemo. A strategic position from which you can reach the most important classic tourist sites with the advantage of finding yourself in an isolated and wild part of the country made of woods, fields and streams to explore.

• Volterra, Peccioli, Terricciola, Casciana Terme, Lajatico as well as the chief town Chianni are situated in an area of 20 km and give the visitor the opportunity to discover the surrounding countryside which has not been spoiled by mass tourism and is rich with culture as the beauty of the towns and villages, the summer music and theatre festivals and the food and wine itineraries can demonstrate.
• Art cities such as Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano are about 50 km away, while Florence, Lucca and the beaches at Cecina and Vada (in the province of Livorno) can be reached in about half an hour by car; continuing south there is the beautiful Maremma and the Etruscan coast.
• 105.Podere la Sterza takes its name from the torrent flowing below it, the torrent Sterza, and that passes through a remarkable landscape not far from the sea, the art cities, the fascinating medieval villages, food and wine itineraries and whatever comes in the mind when thinking of Tuscany.
  The valley of Miemo, so called from the small village that lies among its hills, will surprise anyone who has visited Tuscany without passing through the Commune of Chianni, a small growing village retaining its rural features and with a territory that still has to be discovered made of hills, woods, torrents, streams, waterfalls, walking and bicycle itineraries .
• The b&b 105.Podere la Sterza is situated at the 6th Km on the provincial road to Miemo, one of the most wild and enchanting roads in the province of Pisa, connecting the Valdera to the Val di Cecina. The Farm is made of three stone buildings and the part reserved for the guests is the entire 'noble' floor in the original main house. Here there are three large double rooms with bathroom and a suite, inside all of which a third bed can be added. The entrance for the guests is independent and connected to a large hall that can be used as an exclusive relaxing area. Particular care has been given to the choice of the furnishings and the interior finishings. On the outside there is a large swimming pool separated from the main building by the annex; this area can be reserved for local wine and food promotion and tasting, or when required, for group activities and small meetings.
• The flexibility of the spaces allows to satisfy almost every need, such as those who travel with children, who are our guests up to two years old, and small animals. In fact, if required and especially for groups, we organise daily and weekly activities for children; and animal tolerance has always been our policy.
