• The house is a typical Italian farmhouse, built at the turn of the last century and has been sympathetically restored.  A simple yet comfortable style has been maintained throughout.
• The approach road to Casa Rustica finishes at the house, so there is no passing traffic.  The house is surrounded by fields and the nearest property is quite a distance away: tranquillity assured!
• Casa Rustica is on two floors.  There are three double guest bedrooms (can sleep seven), two bathrooms (shared unless you specify when booking), a large farmhouse-style kitchen with log fire and a sitting room with TV, video and DVD players.  All of the rooms are equipped with fans and mosquito blinds, have vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and double-glazed, shuttered windows. 
• The changeover day is flexible to suit you.  At no extra charge, if you would prefer to be the only guests at Casa Rustica, please let us know when you book (minimum 4 adults for 6 nights).
• Casa Rustica is ideal for bird watchers and nature lovers. From the house we regularly see large birds, including buzzards, kestrels, marsh harriers and other birds of prey, herons and pheasants, plus owls and numerous smaller birds such as nightingales, red starts, bee-eaters, hoopoes, shrikes and many more. We also have porcupines, badgers, foxes and hares in the vicinity.
• WHAT TO DO AND SEE: For those interested in an energetic holiday there are various activities available, including:

how to get there:

Casa Rustica is a 20-minute drive from Ancona Falconara airport (Ryanair flights daily), 30-minutes from the city of Ancona, 10-minutes from Jesi (the nearest town) and 2-minutes from San Marcello (our nearest village). The nearest beaches are just 20-minutes away, and you can be in the mountains in less than 45-minutes.
