• We invite you to stay in a spectacular hillside location with magnificent sea views. Ideal for the local Levada walks, coastal trails and facilities available nearby.
• Situated in the sunny rural village of Gaula (to the SW of and some 200 mtrs above Santa Cruz) "Casa Parsons" is the ideal base from which to explore Madeira.
• Stunning sea views abound with the charming coastal village of Santa Cruz (with pebble beach, new Lido and Aquapark) just 5 mins away. Levada walks and the beautiful hill villages of Camacha (wicker products) and Santo Da Serra (golf and market) are all within some 15/20 mins by car. .
• The Capital City of Funchal is reached within 20 mins (via expressway) and is also readily accessible by the local bus and taxi service.
• Our local cafes, bars and restaurants are within a short walking distance - albeit via "veradas" (steps) uphill on return!
• We moved here from the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, U.K. In July 2004. This is our permanent home complete with our two friendly cats Fluffy and Skippy, recently joined by our new puppy Lucy!
• Deb and I look forward to seeing you here for a relaxed and informal holiday in our spacious new home.
• We have spent many years visiting Madeira and now believe that we can offer you a unique opportunity to make the most of all that this wonderful island has to offer.
• Whilst smokers are accepted (with due consideration for others) we ask that you do not smoke in the Bed rooms.  
• Guest Room's:
  • No. 1 guest room has a large double bed, seating area and spacious en suite shower room with toilet and bidet etc. Sunrise facing with sea and garden view.
  • No. 2 guest room has a large double bed, seating area and spacious en suite shower room with toilet etc. Afternoon sun facing with garden and side sea view. 
  • Both rooms are equipped with a fridge and kettle with tea and coffee making provisions. A hairdryer, iron, radio and CD player are also provided for your comfort.
  • Please note: Both guest rooms are situated on the ground floor, with direct level access to the dinning and lounge area. This light and airy room, in turn opens directly out onto the front and side terrace seating areas, affording spectacular sea views.
