• In the hills halfway between Caldas da Rainha and Rio Maior, you can find our quinta Casa Conchas. Long ago they used to make wine at this quinta, but the rooms are rebuild into two guestrooms.
• Our garden is situated next to the wood. It's wonderful relaxing in his area, in the middle of the nature. But also there is a great choice for those who likes old cities, culture, the beach, playing Golf, or just go for a walk in the wood..
• We have a 2 persons room and a 4 persons apartment.

• Quinta Casa Conchas has 2 guestrooms: Quarto Amarelo and Casinha Verde. Both guestrooms have there own entrance and are next to a cosy patio where you can sit and enjoy the sun.
• You also may enjoy the large garden at the other side of the house.
• Breakfast will be served outside, on the patio. Of course when the weather is nice.

• We prefer that you don't smoke in the guestrooms.

• Slechts een uurtje rijden ten noorden van Lissabon, in de heuvels halverwege Caldas da Rainha en Rio Maior, ligt Quinta Casa Conchas. Onze quinta is vroeger gebruikt als boerderij met o.a. een wijnmakerij. Die ruimtes zijn omgebouwd tot twee gastenverblijven.
• Onze tuin grenst aan het bos en ademt rust en ruimte uit. Het is hier heerlijk relaxen midden in de natuur. Ook is er voor de liefhebber van oude steden, cultuur, strand, golfen, wandelen etc. ruim aanbod in de omgeving. (Zie de pagina's in het onderdeel Omgeving).
• Wij bieden logies, eventueel met ontbijt aan. Indien gewenst serveren wij 's avonds een eenvoudige warme maaltijd. Kijk eens op de pagina "Ontbijt & Diner" voor de mogelijkheden.
• Quinta Casa Conchas heeft 2 gastenverblijven: Quarto Amarelo en Casinha Verde.
• Beide gastenverblijven hebben een eigen ingang en grenzen aan een gezellige binnenplaats, de patio, waar je heerlijk kan zitten.
  Men mag ook gebruik maken van de grote tuin aan de andere kant van het huis. Daar hebben we meerdere zitjes gerealiseerd, waar je heerlijk in de zon of in de schaduw kunt zitten. Vooral vanaf het bankje op de helling heeft men een schitterend uitzicht over de omgeving.
• Op uw kamer ligt een map met informatie over de regio. Ook bevinden zich hierin een aantal beschrijvingen van wandelroutes.
• Het ontbijt wordt ’s morgens, als het weer het toelaat buiten op de patio geserveerd. Wij serveren desgewenst 's avonds een eenvoudig 3-gangen diner. Meer informatie hierover vindt u op de pagina "Ontbijt & Diner"op onze website.
• Handdoeken en keukenlinnen zijn natuurlijk aanwezig en worden regelmatig verschoond.
• Bij een verblijf in Casinha Verde is ook uw hond welkom. De patio is geheel ommuurd waardoor uw hond hier dus vrij kan loslopen. Ook in de grote tuin achter het huis mag de hond los lopen. Deze tuin is echter niet omheind.
• We hebben liever dat u niet rookt in de gastenverblijven.

how to get there:

From the Airport of Lisbon:
Leave the "rent-a-car" in the direction of "Centro".
At the roundabout almost completely round, the direction A1 (MIND THE TRAFFICLIGHTS!!!!!)
Leave the airport and follow the A1/A8/A12.
Than take the A8 OESTE in the direction of Leiria, Loures. This is a toll-road.
Near Caldas da Rainha, at Óbidos leave the A8 and take the A15. This is also a toll-road.
Leave the A15 at the exit Vidais, on the roundabout again Vidais and at the N114 also to Vidais.
You will pass Casal do Breja and Casa do Rei before you will reach Ribeira de Crastos.
Stay at the N114. 200 meters after you have passed the road to Crastos (to the left) there is to the left a small school (see the picture).
Opposite that school is a road to the right, hill up ,the Rua Francisco Lourenço.
Follow that road and after a bow to the right is the last house to the left is Casa Conchas.
