- Casa de Fontes is an ancient Manor House, built to take advantage
of a magnificent landscape overlooking the Vouga Valley in the Aveiro
country.
- It has remained within the same family for several generations and
only recently the ancient area of the house has been renewed and partly
modified to receive tourists.
- For those who are looking for peace and quiet , this is the right
place to come. Located in the countryside, nature is the permanent companion.
Either you just relax all day long or you may also take part in different
activities and get to know the day to day of local people.
- Visit the seaside, the forests, get to know the regional handicraft
or just adventure climbing mountains or stroll along the river banks.
Nature, culture and tradition are everywhere!
- Possible activities: Footing, bike or auto strolls with special itineraries,
radical sports (canoeing, all terrain, mountain climbing, rappel, slide,
etc) sailing on the traditional "Moliceiro", tennis, horse
riding, carting, golf, gambling, diving, etc.

to get there:
Take A1. Exit at Aveiro Norte and take IP5, direction Viseu (about 4Km).
Exit at Porto/ Albergaria a Velha, entering the IC2 (former EN1). 1 km
away, turn left to the centre of Albergaria a Velha (Albergaria Centro/
Sever do Vouga sign). At the Main Hall, turn left, driving straight ahead
through a road surrounded by trees (for about 8Km) till Alquerubim. After
the church (on your left side) turn on first left and then your first
right. You arrived to Casa de Fontes! You’ll may find the map at
