• Welcome to la Posada Los Cántaros an original farmhouse , which dates back to the end of the 19th century, which has been restored by its present owners.
• The farmhouse retains many of the original features, beamed wooden ceilings, exposed stone walls and clay tiled floors.  These features have been complimented by the renewal of other parts in keeping with the original.  A peaceful and charming getaway from the stress of everyday life in a friendly atmosphere.
• Situated in southern Andalusia, west of Malaga , in the Guadalhorce valley, Gibralgalia  is a small village in an elevated position at the top of a valley with a population of only 400, on the boundary of the Municipality of Coin , Pizarra and Casarabonela.
• The village is a five minute walk from the Hotel which is situated in its own grounds of some 3,700m² is at the end of the village track where rural life and the countryside opens to the Sierras.
• There are four bedrooms in the country hotel , each with its own character, individually decorated to a high standard with many original features and all have wood beamed ceilings.  Each room has air conditioning, heating and a television with DVD.  The en-suite bathrooms have toiletries, hair driers and robes provided.  Al the rooms have fresh flowers picked from our own gardens, the beds have hand crafted cotton sheets and Nordic covers.
• The exclusive room "Orchid" in the hotel Posada Los Cántaros has its own private terrace overlooking the gardens and the Sierras.  The en-suite bathroom ha s a Jacuzzi.
• In the large comfortable lounge there is a wood burning fire in a large stone fireplace.  French windows open onto a terrace with spectacular views of the Sierra Gibralgalia and Sierra de las Nieves.
• There is a library where you can enjoy many table games, table tennis and a collection of some 400 DVDs. to choose from.
• In the Dining area of the hotel you can enjoy your meals with amazing views.  Breakfasts are a feast of local products and traditional dishes.  Meals have a variety of International dishes made with produce from our own garden.
• In the beautiful gardens there is a swimming pool with Jacuzzi and a large sun terrace.

No le dejaré indiferente por mi personalizada decoración, mis maravillosas vistas panorámicas, el entrañable y especial trato familiar por parte de mis dueños, y por la tranquilidad y el silencio que rodea mi alojamiento rural.
• Soy el resultado de un proyecto que durante años ha ilusionado a mis dueños: Patrick y Emma, él belga y ella malagueña. Cuando me compraron, era un antiguo cortijo de finales del siglo XIX, resignado al olvido y deterioro, pero hoy he sido rehabilitado como alojamiento rural de encanto.

• Vroeger een molen voor het persen van olijfolie, uit de XIXe eeuw, is dit zeer mooi gebouw met liefde en raffinement getransformeerd, om U een comfort en onthaal eersteklas te bieden in een autentiek en intiem kader.

how to get there:

If you come from Malaga or Malaga airoport take the national road from Malaga to Campillos  and drive up to Cartama  here this road becomes single carriagway, keep driving for 7 km until the sign for t Sierra de Gibralgalia then just fallow the signs that will  get you to the hotel.
