- Come and stay with us at our home, a small farm house built
in the 1820’s . We offer you a recently refurbished and
cosy twin room with TV. The bathroom is on the same floor. A garden
with barbecue is at your disposal and a washing machine/tumble
dryer may be used upon request.
- If you are on your journey through Europe, enjoy a simple meal
on our terrace, a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast.
- Are you looking for a place to spend some relaxing days? Enjoy
quiet surroundings in the countryside (Randen Hills) far away
from mass tourism, ideal for easy walks. Take a ride to the Black
Forest with its lovely lakes or have a dip in the nearby public
outdoor swimming pool.
- Or would you rather exert yourself hiking and biking? Our region
is a well-known hiking area. We can also arrange for other sport
activities such as tennis or horse-riding.
- Schleitheim is a rural village with about 1800 inhabitants.
It offers some interesting features to visit: Roman excavations,
the old gypsum mine and a corn labyrinth with children’s
zoo (open July to Sept.). Schaffhausen town, the cultural and
commercial centre of Schaffhausen, can be reached within 20 mins
drive. Stroll through its pedestrian zone, sit down in one of
its street cafés and watch people passing by. Or pay a
visit to Europe’s mightiest waterfall in adjacent Neuhausen.

to get there:
By car from the south: approx. 17 kms from Schaffhausen on the
road Schaffhausen – Freiburg im Breisgau. Enter Schleitheim
and turn right at the signpost (Dorfmitte), after 150 m on your
right side.
By car from the north: cross the German border at Stühlingen,
after approx. 2 kms turn left (signpost Dorfmitte), after 150 m
on your right side.
By public transport: regional coach nr. 35 which departs in front
of the railway station Schaffhausen, stop Schleitheim Station, walk
150 m direction Dorfmitte, find us on your right hand side.
